Nowhere Left To Go
By Katie Harris
A cave. No exits. No entrances. 6 teenagers find themselves trapped. Will these 6 escape the dark tunnels and make it out alive, or will they have to learn how to escape themselves first? Nowhere Left To Go is a character-driven play that explores hardships as a teen/young adult, and examines how we treat one another and why it really matters.

This production was the world premiere of this play! The cave in the play exists in a realm not unlike our own, but with different rules about how space and time function. As the director, I got to create these rules and craft a movement vocabulary to communicate them to the audience. Produced in a black box theatre with alley-style seating (audience on two sides with the stage space in the center), this piece was an exciting challenge in considering unique sightlines and constructing an immersive experience.

The Little Prince
By John Scoullar
This play tells the story of a world-weary and disenchanted Aviator whose sputtering plane strands him in the Sahara Desert and a mysterious, regal "little man" who appears and asks him to "Please, sir, draw me a sheep." During their two weeks together in the desert, the Little Prince tells the Aviator about his adventures through the galaxy, how he met the Lamplighter and the Businessman and the Geographer, and about his strained relationship with a very special flower on his own tiny planet. At length, both the "little man" and the Aviator must go home—each with a new understanding of how to laugh, cry, and love again.

This production was one of three shows in the Patchwork Theatre Festival at Muhlenberg College. The festival was independently produced and entirely student created & run. I was on the team of festival founders & coordinators, and as that team we went on to found Amalgamation Theatre Collective!

The Little Prince was put on in an amphitheater rarely used for fully staged performances, and we used the quirks of the unusual space (echoey spots onstage, no theatrical lights, the sky above us) to bring the story to life.
